hey y'all, today we're going to be talking about well....unless you can't read the title, PARTS OF SPEECH!
If you know (or even don't) this is one of those school blogs that has certain goals and thing's I'm good at hiding like a lot of schoolwork hidden in my blog posts.
ANYWAY, let's get on, shall we? (by the way there's 8)
~.1: NOUNS ARE PEOPLE PLACES OR THINGS LIKE THIS CAPS-LOCK BUTTON OR THE LIBRARY I'M SITTING IN RIGHT NOW
~.2: Adjectives are words that describe nouns, such as "the bold, underlined, and italic writing hurts to read" or "the lobster is red, and this sentence is facetious"
~.3: Verbs are something that you do, such as "I don't run" or "the red lobster is one stupid lobster, he fell out of the window at school (of fish (HA pun))"
~.4: Pronouns are sepcifically people...honestly, only way I think I can explain this is by not really paying attention, my teacher's being weird; she's talking loud
~.5: Conjunction is a word that hooks up two adjectives or phrases like "thick and thin"
~.6: Participles are just Verbs that can change nouns like "the ongoing sentence is getting boring"
~.7: An interjection is just an expression of emotion in a sentence "writing this sentence is so hard, UUUUUUUUGGGHHHHHHHHUUUUHHHHHHHH"
~.8: LAST AND HOPEFULLY LEAST IS THE ADVERB!!!!!! An adverb is just a word that modifies the meaning of a verb, such as "I'd happily throw this laptop out the window if I had to do this again!"
Thanks y'all for using me as an apparently valuable resource for this silly lesson on grammar
