Viktor-ious

Hey y'all

TODAY I saw an old TED talk about a man named Vitor Frankl. His message was about not shooting for what you want, so if you miss you fall to your losses. I mean I'm not saying don't go for what you want, I'm saying what you should do is go OVER what you want, so if you end up failing then you'll get to what you want and be perfectly happy with failing, I apologize for a slightly delayed blog-post, but i thought I'd get you what you need!

Tennis Ball

HEY Y'ALL, IM GOING TO DO THIS WHOLE POST IN CAPS LOCK

ANYWAY, JUST SAYING THAT THIS MIGHT BE MY LAST SCHEDULED POST AND I FIGURED SINCE YOU SEEM TO LIKE MY FUNNIER AND MORE CYNICAL POSTS, I'M GOING TO DO ONE ABOUT THIS STUPID TENNIS BALL I FOUND OUTSIDE! IT'S GREEN AND BRIGHT AND MAKES ME HAPPY AND I WISH I HAD 7,000 MORE

OH MY GOD, I CALLED IT STUPID!  I'M SO SORRY MISTER BALLY!

ANYWAY, MY PLAN FOR MISTER BALLY IS TO CUT A SLIT IN HIM AND THEN GLUE SOME GOOGLEY EYES ON HIM, IT'LL LOOK LIKE A CUTE LITTLE TENNIS BALL FACE THAT I COULD PUT THINGS INSIDE OR MAKE HIM HOLD THINGS AND STUFF LIKE THAT. OH MY GOD IM SO EXCITED TO GET HOME NOW

I THINK THE MAIN REASON I WANT ONE OF THESE IS TO SAY I ACTUALLY HAVE ONE, I MEAN IT'S NOT LIKE IT HAS MANY PRACTICAL USES THAT I NEED EVERY DAY. MAYBE WHAT I'LL END UP DOING IS SOMETHING STUPID WITH IT LIKE PUTTING A LIGHT IN ITS MOUTH AND CUTTING OUT HOLES FOR EYES INSTEAD OF USING GOOGLY EYES...WE'LL SEE I GUESS. ANYWAY, I HOPE YOU LIKE THIS POST, I WONT BE POSTING AS FREQUENTLY, I APOLOGIZE, Y'ALL, FOR PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY READ THIS (THANKS ORIN).

this post is da bomb

This is the story of Sadako, a young girl who died of Leukemia because of the nuclear bomb in Japan that caused Radioactive rain. The poor girl was only a mile from ground zero when the bomb hit so... that's where the leukemia came from.

When Sadako was sick she tried to make 1000 paper cranes for her "one wish" that Japanese legends say you get if you for completing the 1000 cranes but she died and was buried with the cranes before she could finish them.

wait...when did I...

Hey y'all, me again!

When looking around all of my old stuff around the house, I found a few of my dad's old games and a MASSIVE collection of music I've never even seen before buried under a pile of books. A lot of this music is very.....nostalgic...  Just purely reminiscent of them "good ol' days"  like Kryptonite by Three Doors Down.

While we're on this subject, I also found my dad's old copy of the ORIGINAL UNREAL!!   One of the most famous games of all time just given to me because my dad forgot it at our house! Now, I'm not going to lie and say I only play it a little...It's been my whole life these past few days because..it's just so...beautiful. This is getting a bit off topic, but I guess I'm just excited

If you don't know what this game is, don't fret! I'll post a video

Parts Of Speech

hey y'all, today we're going to be talking about well....unless you can't read the title, PARTS OF SPEECH!

If you know (or even don't) this is one of those school blogs that has certain goals and thing's I'm good at hiding like a lot of schoolwork hidden in my blog posts.

ANYWAY, let's get on, shall we? (by the way there's 8)

~.1: NOUNS ARE PEOPLE PLACES OR THINGS LIKE THIS CAPS-LOCK BUTTON OR THE LIBRARY I'M SITTING IN RIGHT NOW

~.2: Adjectives are words that describe nouns, such as  "the bold, underlined, and italic writing hurts to read"  or "the lobster is red, and this sentence is facetious"

~.3: Verbs are something that you do, such as  "I don't run"   or   "the red lobster is one stupid lobster, he fell out of the window at school (of fish (HA pun))"

~.4: Pronouns are sepcifically people...honestly, only way I think I can explain this is by not really paying attention, my teacher's being weird; she's talking loud

~.5: Conjunction is a word that hooks up two adjectives or phrases like "thick and thin"

~.6:  Participles are just Verbs that can change nouns like  "the ongoing sentence  is getting boring"

~.7:  An interjection is just an expression of emotion in a sentence  "writing this sentence is so hard, UUUUUUUUGGGHHHHHHHHUUUUHHHHHHHH"

~.8:   LAST AND HOPEFULLY LEAST IS THE ADVERB!!!!!!    An adverb is just a word that modifies the meaning of  a verb, such as  "I'd happily throw this laptop out the window if I had to do this again!"

Thanks y'all for using me as an apparently valuable resource for this silly lesson on grammar

Stuff...I Guess....

Hey y'all,

Today's post, I'm going to make about some of my favorite things, because lately I haven't done much other than that Tekkit nonsense with some of my skype friends. But fear not! I'll start looking for a lot more than previously thought! So, I guess, I'll get on now to what I love in life! Look at all of my exclamation points!

1.) my favorite thing of all time is music. I listen to it practically 24/7 (yes, I play music while I sleep, don't judge me)

2.) I love my 22 pound kitten (he's really a 9 year old) named Inkinsplyss (in-kuhn-spliss) which means Defender

3.) yet another cat, only this one is named Hentai....(she's my sister's cat, okay?)

4.) cuddling up with a book and my blanket I've had for practically ever, it's so warm and cozy and.. ... ... ... yeah

5.) not being bored

6.) when things are self explanatory

7.) MURRICA

8.) being part of a fandom for something that the internet loves like sherlock, doctor who, pokemon, etc.

9.) making long lists that people probably dont read

10.) over-using parenthesis and exclamation points

11.) odd numbers

Those are things I love and if you disagree with any of them, feel free to confront me about it and fight me as if we were two chickens in an underground cock-fighting society (I have a habit of pecking). All of those things have a huge influence on me, especially the first one. Hell, I even wear a black Hoodie because my favorite band is on it!

anyway....

in other news, it seems that some big things have been going on recently! As in...a new leader for my country maybe? but who cares, HALO 4 CAME OUT AND SEASON 3 OF MY LITTLE PONY PREMIERES IN ONLY 3 MORE DAYS! Both of those things I'm so excited for..oh yeah, and I guess the president kind of matters...But in more news, my life is going to take a huge turn in around....a month? It seems that my great grandfather's old folks' home is costing a lot more than we would like and isn't giving him what he needs so my mother and I decided to make the decision to take him in ourselves! I personally am SUUUPER excited for this because well....He's great! I also would be able to turn this into a project and let it be a double positive!

Tekkit-ly correct

Hey y'all, Today's post is going to be all about something I've recently discovered. It's a mod(modification to the game)-esque thingy...I don't know how really to explain it more than that; it's a form of software I should say. Anyway, it's as if Minecraft got modern day technology put into it with all the quirks of Minecraft that make it so great. What makes it so great is the technology in it. you can make generators, steam engines, internal-cumbustion engines, macerators for your ore, and so much else! It's name is "Tekkit".

This "Mod" is astounding and a massive amount of fun to play every second. The various minerals that are added and the mechanics that were also, are great to mess around with; currently I'm working on a diamond-factory in the sky. You can find things like Nikolite, Copper, Uranium, and Tin; you can do practically anything!

What makes it even better is the realism it has. The nuclear reactors have a chance to blow up, When things travel through pipes, they can get stuck, wind powered devices can fall over and break. It's just amazing how great it is and I know I'm practically dying while I type this because of happiness, but it has sparked the imagination of Minecraft once more for me. instead of tedious and lame building, you can do so much for practically infinite resources. It makes mining alot more fun now because what's that? oh, it's a brand new ruby for your lover (if you're really that nerdy).

Dapper Wolf is Dapper

Hey y'all! unless you're an australlian or live under a rock, you should know that:

It was Halloween last night! I didn't get the chance to go Trick-r' treating, but what I did was no less than extraordinary! My favorite part of the night was when i finally got some sleep...which was a bit hard....I mean I didn't really do much..but man-oh-man...sleep. What my night was, was nothing but scary movies with a mom at my feet to keep me warm and a cat to hug with an Ipod in hand to keep me more entertained through a horrible movie based off of an ancient legend. we sat around...eating candy....and that's about it, but it was so fun ohmygod you have no idea!

This post is going to be about something else too, I have fallen in love with yet another musical gentleman named Mr. B the Gentleman Rhymer. He's like that Professor Elemental artist. I found out that there is one particular genre for them and it's called Chap Hop (a mix of hip hop and being a quite dapper ol' chap). Just listening to this makes me feel fancy and adventurous.

He practically started the genre when he started making some music that seemed...a bit odd...He made music that was a mix of rap and nothing other than...uuhm..what do you call it... gentleman music I suppose. His rhymes are crisper than a nice tea of earl grey and his beat's will keep you gaffawing until you have to scoop all that remains of your jaw off of the carpett! I apologize if this blog is becoming steampunk but it's my biggest obsession at the moment, As we speak i have a pair of brass colored goggles around my neck!

INTENS(e)-ives

Hey y'all, this post is going to be a bit different (but don't you fret!)

For my intensive (a strange class-like thingy that we do for 3 days straight) I made awesome apple sauce from nothing but 700+ (not over-exaggerating) apples that our teacher Connie had picked herself. What we did first was cut all of them....every single one...into fourths, then we boiled!we boiled them in huge pots until they became...mushy..and...soft...it was quite entertaining! After they  became apple-esque mush, we scooped them out into a food processor then well it made apple sauce! We then took the water we boiled the apples in and added a chemical called Pectin that turned it into a nice-tasting apple jelly (yum!).

If i could do my own intensive, I might honestly do one on Gaming, teach people about the benefits and disadvantages of being a gamer, and maybe play some games and bring in my X-Box. It would be a great adventure in teaching because I've never taught before and it would be a lot of fun. I am absolutely positive that like....4,000,000,000,000 people would join it and enjoy it!

WELL I guess it's time to take a change of pace because the MAN IS BRINGING ME DOWN IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT WE CALL SCHOOL!

Another thing we do at my school is set goals for each half-semester, and one thing I want to get out of the 2nd quarter is just...really...get to know my audience a lot better (that's a hint y'all!), and I guess if I needed more then i'd say to find more things on  the internet faster because there have been a few weeks that I haven't been able to provide you lovely, amazing, sexy, stunningly-intelligent, readers with something relatively new to me.

Back to what I know and love dearly! the internet~!

You all should know by now that i'm one classy son of a (censored by me)  and I just ADORE Steam punk and Victorian ..bleh! So today's real find is basically about an amazing British gentleman named Professor Element. He raps and makes funny skits on the internet, much like the last band I showed you all: Steam Powered Giraffe!  If you're like me and love rap about Earl Grey, listen to him and love him forever and ever...seriously...do it...click the video...c'mon...I know you can...

Steam Powered Giraffe

Hey y'all, Today's find is all about an amazing band called Steam Powered Giraffe. This band has no other genre other than Automatonic Electronic Harmonics. The band consists of three robotic characters: (left to right) The Spine, Rabbit, and the Jon
(left to right) The Spine, Rabbit, and the Jon

The band is a Steampunk themed band who's a lot more than just a band, they're performers in ever sense of the word. Funny jokes, AMAZING mime work, and music that will stick in your head for hours. This band is a truly amazing experience and go around form convention to convention pleasing crowds of thousands with their amazing work in everything they do. What get's me so happy about this band is that they're willing to keep their fandom informed on everything they do and the fandom is the same way. There are thousands of stories made by the creators of the band and the fans themselves with millions of costumes and hand-drawn pictures.

This band means a lot to me because it reminds me of a goal we have in are school which is Rediscover the joy of learning. This applies to me of course because i'm officially obsessed with this band and spend countless hours doing research on this band and have fun learning about what I can.

If you already know this band, then feel free to stay fluffy Engineeriteers!

If you want to do more of your own reasearch you can follow their many blogs and visit their their own official website

GOOOOOOOOOD BLESS A-MURRICAAAAA~

Hey y'all, today's post is going to be about the president of the United States! My vote is definitely for Obama on this one, I mean, yeah he has some issues but unless the C.I.A. is hiding something, then Obama is just another human being on this blue rock with his own opinions. Same goes for Mitt Romney, I mean yeah i don't agree with some things he does but I can't hate a man who's made his way all the way to presidential candidate! Anyway, My vote is for Obama simply because he's all for what humans should be like...what humans should be able to accept. I personally am gay and one day have a honeymoon with the man of my dreams but that's not it, I'm all for women's rights and I believe that Especially with Rape cases, women should be aloud to get an abortion and young women should be able to get the Birth control they deserve because to be quite honest, if Romney wins, I foresee 4 more seasons of "16 and pregnant". Once again, I think they're both heroes in their own way- Romney is just old fashioned. source: http://www.isidewith.com/romney-vs-obama-on-the-issues

THE NINE DEVINE!!!!!

HEY Y'ALL!!!

today, when doing working and being productive, I found an amazing band called Vitamin String Quartet. They are the most amazing thing I've ever seen and it's my new favorite band. They take famous songs and make them into classical music and it's just...pure...awesomeness...Metallica? No, it's a rendition of One that paired up the the lyrics will make you cry. Seven nation army by the White stripes? No, a slow and soothing symphony that will please your ear holes till once again you cry.

I hate to be that one person that shoves something down your throat but just know, this band is amazing and made me fan girl so hard I hurt myself!

Thoughts~

Hey y'all

So, lately I've become more philosophical and it's amazing in my opinion. What I mean by this is that lately I've become more....aware of how life works and how every human is the same but amazingly different. For example: My teacher and I were sitting on the bank of the Rhein river in Dresden Germany and I noticed a bunch of people hurrying and rushing to get to there next location and said "Ya know, it's weird....Every single one of these people have their own story, hell even their own opinions. It's weird to think that  this person might be walking like that because they're sad, or that person's here because they're wanting to get away from life."

It's not that I'm trying to be a great philosopher but I've just become more aware of life and it's "mechanics."

So, on that note: I have a question for y'all!

What is your favorite quote and who is it by?

Hey y'all, today's find is going to be about a wonderful web comic simply called: Homestuck. This web comic is nothing but pure fantastic-ness. It's about a teen named John Eggbert and his freinds when they get the beta for the game called Sburb. I can't say much more without spoiling the amazing story but...read it

What makes Homestuck the greatest is the fanbase and Andrew Hussie (the creator). He always keeps you up to date with things and always finds a way to suprize you with something. The fans are great at Cosplaying and selling home made merchindise.

Learning n' stuff

Hey y'all!

Today I'm going to talk about one thing that is important to me and my school: Rediscovering the joy of learning. I've always loved discovering something new, even if its something as little as "this rock is orange because iron oxide changes pigment in minerals". This is a really cool idea for a schools... motto I should say because its not just a lesson, but a lesson for life and its a great one at that. Rediscovering the joy of learning is important if you want to have a...Kid-like sense of mind and its what keeps us human beings.

Today's awesome thingy is: Rain

Although it's just water falling from the atmosphere, be lucky we're not on mars (where instead of water, its acid). I mean, think! Water, 70% of our body is the same as what falls from the sky even though its only caused from condensing clouds.  But, let's not ruin something that great with science. Let's instead say that its a wonderful feeling of the little tiny drops plopping wherever they may.

Sharing kindness, its an easy feat

http://www.ted.com/talks/neil_pasricha_the_3_a_s_of_awesome.html

Hey y'all, this video is all about positivity which is something we all can learn!

Lately I've been going through a lot and I think this was exactly what I needed  to make me feel better. Moral of the story: enjoy the little things! So today I'm going to try something and I will also write one good thing in life I love in life each time. Today's: Friendship

When you think about it, it's a -HUGE- miracle that we (as human beings) are able to share a common feeling with another but on basic enough of a level to stay different from one another. Weither it be a large fight or a stupid insult, people always happen to pick friendship over everything else and just move on! and to quote the famous Dr. Seuss "Those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind"

get down with the sickness!

Hey y'all! I'm horribly sick and want nothing more than a nice Chicken-Pot-Pie right now. So todays find will be about my insane conspiracy theories.

One of them is that: WE ARE NOT ALONE!
Now you may be thinking "Aliens...Right?" but no, I'm thinking that every cracked up crazy idea is real because we -make- them real....Now, im not saying that this is true, but if Quantum Physics taught me anything....Then we're screwed. Zombies acting and living like humans or, Warewolves shaving every night.

Just food for thought...

And for my fellow gamers (dont worry, this is short): check out games by a company called Telltale Games, such as the indie series: Penny arcade: the dark rainslicked precepice of darkness.

one laaast thing!

I'm going to be like every poser and copy someone by giving you (the reader) a nickname! Comment suggestions in that little box thingy below and I'll see what I like!

Gettin personal!

Hey y'all! Today I'm going to introduce myself to you just a biiit more. Things you should know first off are that when I find something I enjoy i tend to....obsess over it but the things I hate, I tend to hate with all my heart. Another thing is that music is the biggest part of my life, I don't make music but I have an ear-bud in all the time and music going 24/7. When I'm not at school or listening to music I'm a -huge- gamer. My favorite games are Team Fortress 2, Bioshock series, and the Dragon Age series.

Uuuh....What else?

Well, my Mom works part time as a Veterinary Technician and in her free time runs an online store on Etsy called: WillowSwitch Designs where she burns and stains wood boxes. She has some up already for order and they make some great gifts!

But enough about that...

Who I am as a human being is awesome, although im probably everything you either hate or adore....Depends on who you are! Easiest way to explain me is with a list so...Here goes nothing!
-Brony
-Furry (wolf named Azander)
-Whovian
-Gamer
-Pokemon-Master
-Card Nerd
-Gay
-Amazing in every way, shape, and form
-Obviously narcissistic

If you ever want to have a chat with me, just add me on Skype (azanderbluff) or either of my Steam accounts (ooewa) (ooewa1)

Im always up for talking, and if you want to know more or talk to me, just send me a message and I'll respond ASAP!!!!

science and cubes

Hey y'all, today is a find that I found when looking around on Stumbleupon.com. I love science and this find is truly astounding. Recently, an underwater lake in Russia was discovered under a whole mile of ice! They found microbes and cells from ancient times, believing even 1,000,000 years ago! I mean, I know I'm a huge nerd when it comes to this stuff but it's just impressive how something can live that long in such an extreme condition

Because I'm feeling generous, I'm going to add another segment! About gaming of course.

I recently found my own personal -favorite- map in the popular game: Minecraft. It's called "the walls". It's a small map where players are set into small quadrants and left to their own devices for 15 minutes to gather supplies...Then it happens...The massive walls drop and all of the players are set into a huge Player vs. Player battle

Lone Survivor

This find is all about an indie horror game called "Lone Survivor". This game is truly one of the scariest and disturbing game I personally have ever played. The mixture of dark ambiance and limited view make this game creep you out and sweat as you play. Not only do you have -very- limited supplies, you also have to deal with enemies that are unnatural and unexplained throughout the whole game while you take advice from a seriously "out of it" man with his head in a box who can't stop speaking in riddles.

This game really takes your mind to the edge; dropping you somewhere unfamiliar and puts you in a very life-threatening scenario. The thing that truly makes this game so intense is that: it's so. Simple. I mean really, the "The Man Who Wears a Box" is his name and you're name in this game is "you" so you have little to no idea of what's going on or what the story line is other than: Survive

If you found this article interesting and want to play this game yourself, you can buy it from Steam for around 10-15$

also, if you have anything you'd like me to put up on here, just post a comment or email me at Navalkittenman@gmail.com (best email ever)

Me First!

Hey y'all, this find is about something very dear to me: music. I found an smazing band called Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies. This band takes old(er) songs and remakes them. My personal favorite song they've remade is the 70's song Wild World.

But seriously. Check 'em out...

12 Monkeys

Hey readers, this week I'm going to discuss something I've always enjoyed: apocalypse....es....es.... I have just -adored- games like Fallout. This find is soley based off of a movie I happened to watch at a friend's house named "12 Monkeys" now...I could say a lot of things about this movie but im not in the mood to spoil anything so let me just say: This movie makes you think about the choices you make.

This might be a bit personal but... I've been thinking alot lately about the choices -I- have been making, questioning if the grasshopper I squish might somehow destroy cities in thr future due to bug-collecter-riots or taking one wrong step might one day help scientists rediscover pre-war America...just food for thought...

PewDiePie *brofist*

hello everyone this is my 1st ever find!

A long time ago, I had a friend introduce me to a horror game about a rampaging teleporting banana/sexy beast monster who snaps your neck if you're not keeping him in sight. This game is SCP: Containment Breach. This game spawned gameplay videos with commentary on Youtube. One I became fairly accostomed to was PewDiePie, an amazing Swedish gamer.

His most famous gameplay videos are of a game titled "Amnesia: The Dark Descent". With an interesting but short story, PewDie learned to love it and got thousands of Subscribers (he calls us "Bros") within just 24 videos! Say all you want, but someone getting famous just by naming and talking to an in-game chair is incredible, and if you're reading this and think videogames are stupid, watch for the improvised stand up comedy this man has to come up with every week to keep us interested.

Amnesia Playthrough
A game called Cry Of Fear

if you love gaming, you'll love Pewdie and if you don't then I hope you will enjoy this

hiiii!!!!

Hello all, on this blog im going to post all the random finds i can dig up on the intertubes! a few things you shoulds know about me is that the biggest parts of my life include: gaming music, and just being a furry. To start this off, I am going to share with you: my favorite song of all time! I'm not okay (I promise)
