INTENS(e)-ives

Hey y'all, this post is going to be a bit different (but don't you fret!)

For my intensive (a strange class-like thingy that we do for 3 days straight) I made awesome apple sauce from nothing but 700+ (not over-exaggerating) apples that our teacher Connie had picked herself. What we did first was cut all of them....every single one...into fourths, then we boiled!we boiled them in huge pots until they became...mushy..and...soft...it was quite entertaining! After they  became apple-esque mush, we scooped them out into a food processor then well it made apple sauce! We then took the water we boiled the apples in and added a chemical called Pectin that turned it into a nice-tasting apple jelly (yum!).

If i could do my own intensive, I might honestly do one on Gaming, teach people about the benefits and disadvantages of being a gamer, and maybe play some games and bring in my X-Box. It would be a great adventure in teaching because I've never taught before and it would be a lot of fun. I am absolutely positive that like....4,000,000,000,000 people would join it and enjoy it!

WELL I guess it's time to take a change of pace because the MAN IS BRINGING ME DOWN IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT WE CALL SCHOOL!

Another thing we do at my school is set goals for each half-semester, and one thing I want to get out of the 2nd quarter is just...really...get to know my audience a lot better (that's a hint y'all!), and I guess if I needed more then i'd say to find more things on  the internet faster because there have been a few weeks that I haven't been able to provide you lovely, amazing, sexy, stunningly-intelligent, readers with something relatively new to me.

Back to what I know and love dearly! the internet~!

You all should know by now that i'm one classy son of a (censored by me)  and I just ADORE Steam punk and Victorian ..bleh! So today's real find is basically about an amazing British gentleman named Professor Element. He raps and makes funny skits on the internet, much like the last band I showed you all: Steam Powered Giraffe!  If you're like me and love rap about Earl Grey, listen to him and love him forever and ever...seriously...do it...click the video...c'mon...I know you can...

Steam Powered Giraffe

Hey y'all, Today's find is all about an amazing band called Steam Powered Giraffe. This band has no other genre other than Automatonic Electronic Harmonics. The band consists of three robotic characters: (left to right) The Spine, Rabbit, and the Jon
(left to right) The Spine, Rabbit, and the Jon

The band is a Steampunk themed band who's a lot more than just a band, they're performers in ever sense of the word. Funny jokes, AMAZING mime work, and music that will stick in your head for hours. This band is a truly amazing experience and go around form convention to convention pleasing crowds of thousands with their amazing work in everything they do. What get's me so happy about this band is that they're willing to keep their fandom informed on everything they do and the fandom is the same way. There are thousands of stories made by the creators of the band and the fans themselves with millions of costumes and hand-drawn pictures.

This band means a lot to me because it reminds me of a goal we have in are school which is Rediscover the joy of learning. This applies to me of course because i'm officially obsessed with this band and spend countless hours doing research on this band and have fun learning about what I can.

If you already know this band, then feel free to stay fluffy Engineeriteers!

If you want to do more of your own reasearch you can follow their many blogs and visit their their own official website

GOOOOOOOOOD BLESS A-MURRICAAAAA~

Hey y'all, today's post is going to be about the president of the United States! My vote is definitely for Obama on this one, I mean, yeah he has some issues but unless the C.I.A. is hiding something, then Obama is just another human being on this blue rock with his own opinions. Same goes for Mitt Romney, I mean yeah i don't agree with some things he does but I can't hate a man who's made his way all the way to presidential candidate! Anyway, My vote is for Obama simply because he's all for what humans should be like...what humans should be able to accept. I personally am gay and one day have a honeymoon with the man of my dreams but that's not it, I'm all for women's rights and I believe that Especially with Rape cases, women should be aloud to get an abortion and young women should be able to get the Birth control they deserve because to be quite honest, if Romney wins, I foresee 4 more seasons of "16 and pregnant". Once again, I think they're both heroes in their own way- Romney is just old fashioned. source: http://www.isidewith.com/romney-vs-obama-on-the-issues

THE NINE DEVINE!!!!!

HEY Y'ALL!!!

today, when doing working and being productive, I found an amazing band called Vitamin String Quartet. They are the most amazing thing I've ever seen and it's my new favorite band. They take famous songs and make them into classical music and it's just...pure...awesomeness...Metallica? No, it's a rendition of One that paired up the the lyrics will make you cry. Seven nation army by the White stripes? No, a slow and soothing symphony that will please your ear holes till once again you cry.

I hate to be that one person that shoves something down your throat but just know, this band is amazing and made me fan girl so hard I hurt myself!

Thoughts~

Hey y'all

So, lately I've become more philosophical and it's amazing in my opinion. What I mean by this is that lately I've become more....aware of how life works and how every human is the same but amazingly different. For example: My teacher and I were sitting on the bank of the Rhein river in Dresden Germany and I noticed a bunch of people hurrying and rushing to get to there next location and said "Ya know, it's weird....Every single one of these people have their own story, hell even their own opinions. It's weird to think that  this person might be walking like that because they're sad, or that person's here because they're wanting to get away from life."

It's not that I'm trying to be a great philosopher but I've just become more aware of life and it's "mechanics."

So, on that note: I have a question for y'all!

What is your favorite quote and who is it by?
